is there a virus or something that will directly attack my web browser beacause google will not load on my computer, which is rather strange because every other site does

Do you have any programs on your compter that allows you to block websites? What browser are you using?

i`m useing firfox the only thing i can think of is bitdefender, but then again i have turned that off any google still wont load

I'm on ntl: also, was having problems, but the issues in my area (North London) seem to have gone, as from the cableforum link, people in other areas are still having problrms.

This is the 3rd time this has happened in 3 months, with all the same issues, google and ebay not loading, or msn not signing in.

They keep saying its a DoS attack ...

ntl: is the biggest ISP in the UK, find it strange they can't deal with this shit!

yeah exactly its happend to me,twice.... we rang and complained and managed to get couple of months free internet.

I managed to get an upgrade from 1Mbps to 10Mbps, the monthly bill was cut from £17.99 to £12.49 for 12 months then to £17.49 after that (Forever, or as long as i'm with ntl) where as everyone else pays £34.99.
I also got FREE telephone for 3 months and FREE digital tv for 6 months ...

lol, i got told to call back in 3 months then 6 months to extend the offer.
