This thread is started to convince all Zeropaid users about the advantages of a centralized network like Mediaseek is and AudioGalaxy was.

It sums up most of the points made in earlier threads so everyone can get a good overview.

1 - The website allows you to browse all the files ever to be shared. If a file is not available you can still select it and wait till it comes online.
This makes the searching of files far easier and the collection substantially bigger.

2 - This overview of files allows you to select the files with longest tracktime and the highest bitrate. (remember AG, it was best for High Quality)

You say:

1 - centralized networks are an easy target for the RIAA
This is no problem considering MediaSeek is situated in Poland, where the RIAA cant get to

2 - MediaSeek comes delivered wtih SpyWare
Use ADaware, its quite simple.

3 - I already run a different P2P network.
Well running MediaSeek along any other P2Pnetwork doesnt kill your connection. (tested with WinMX, KaZaa and eDonkey)

4 - There are not enough users, that's probably because everone is too impatient. Stick around a while and things will changes. (Someone has to go first!!!)

If you wanna chechk it out go to www.mediaseek.pl.
Sure the site hasnt reached the AGstandard, but give it time and with the release of newer client versions it will come.

Now go multiply and prosper!!!:fire

i loved AG, so i like centralized networks also. there are many advantages to them. mediaseek looks like a good program but it needs more time just to develop users and get bigger.

I Love AG, there I'll get that out of the way. I used it when it first came out and I used it until the day it shut down. It was/still is the best mp3 search engine and dl ever. De-centralized is smart, but it can be slow or hard to find rare files. Centralized is good too, for the very reasons you listed. It's too bad there isn't something like fasttrack movies and share reactor, for all types of files. But for mp3 lovers looking for rare files all I can say is get SoulSeek, it's not up to AG quality yet, but it's a close second.

i wouldnt be so quick to assume that just because mediaseek are located in poland they will be out of reach of the RIAA. i dont know anything about the polish legal system, but i think its a fair assumption they will have some kind of copyright laws, and the RIAA will attempt to use these to have them shut down.

the US government is also pretty good at petitioning foreign governments on behalf of the interests of big US corporations.

maybe theyll get shut down, maybe they wont, but if they begin to get as big as AG you can bet the RIAA will try. lets see what happens.

Just give mediseek some time when it hits it's potential like i know it will watch everyone come running to mediaseek. think about this is they shutdown soulseek and kazaa where will everyone run to????. MEDIASEEK.

but mediaseek has competition with the ag clone
evolutionp2p watch they both are gonna be a big hit and
successful
