Free Rip not working

FreeRip worked well for about 5 CD's then it stopped working and generated error messages. I deleted the program - reloaded it - reDL'ed it - reinstalled it . Nothing works . I even deleted winamp and it still wont work. CD's play direct from my ROM drive ok. Funny freerip has stopped working on my other networked pc a well. HELP

Go to DB Power Amp and get their ripper and converter. they're free and they WORK......you'll have to search for the web site, you'll find it easy though.

maybe your aspi files were somehow changed or messed up. It happened to me once.
I believe there is a app. called aspicheck that can tell you what version an if all is well. If you need to you can can re-install your aspi with a app called forceaspi.
also cdex and eac are the best rippers. try a yahoo search for them

I had the same issues with free:cross rip... finally broke down and actually paid for audiograbber.. what a difference.. sometimes free and worth the price of admission
