Yes it seems to be true, the world is coming to an end April 17 when the cartoon network starts airing "Saved By the Bell" on Adult Swim. Can it be stopped? Only Satan knows for sure but I plan on stabbing my eyes out with two sharp pencils to save my self the pain and suffering of seeing Adult Swim officially 'Jumping the Shark'. Even the Fonz couldnt jump over this turd and come out smelling like a rose. Cartoon Network, I curse at thee!

How does this fit with the "Cartoon Network" and especially how does it fit into the spirit of Adult Swim.

Im hoping there is more to this than it seems. There isn't any info of this on the AS site but maybe its some sort of remix of the old (it will still lick balls) or perhaps it will now include the cut nude scenes.

I would rather see Pee Wees play house if they are going to show non cartoon content. At least they had the "king of cartoons" in the playhouse. Thats was a great show

That is my thinking as well. They will probably dub and do some other Adult Swim make over to it like they did to the Saturday morning cartoon show "Sealab 2020" and made it into the hit "Sealab 2021". (The pirate radio station episode is my favorite)

If anyone can turn a crapfest sitcom like "Saved By the Bell" into a decent show it is the great warped minds of Adult Swim.
Have faith Mel this maybe a real diamond in the ruff. Granted it sure as hell will need some heavy duty polishing, but just think of the sick, peverted, nasty things that can be done to make this a five star show.

Exactly...Like Cheap Seats...that show makes even spelling bees funny....uh...never mind.

I 'bout shit when I saw that advertsied on Adult Swim...I am hoping that it is just some stupid joke and that they are NOT really doing this. moneoa Said it right...what the hell does this have to do with adults? Guess I will find out :(

I take it then that you missed the reasoning for that. Someone wrote them telling them how totally stupid this is and that they needed to either not air SBTB or change their name to [crappy 1980's live action tv show network] instead of Adult Swim...hence the name now. However I am watching Family Guy right now and it says adult swim....

sadly that guy, Dustin Diamond is the one person who was lame enough to keep taking screech gigs
wayyyy after he should of ditched the show and offshoots in good taste.

He is on the new generation along with the guy who played the principal through the series

The fact this show still in exsistance is unwholesome and evil

I fell asleep by the end of the show after finishing off a kick ass Chili dog with slaw! Yum for the dog, Yuck for the show. Zach cheated on his history test, Screech could see the future, Kelly got naked. Awesome show. I think the Kelly part might have been a dream though. I'm glad this is only going to last two weeks!

This is like a kid version of 90210

The Boobdocks is the best cartoon on tv if you ask me, I have all the episodes. I especially like the ones with Samual L Jackson doing his Pulp Fiction lines. Harvey Birdman Is second best

Family Guy is in a league of its own so that doesn't count. Harvey Birdman is my second favorite Mels, Aqua Teen is my third favorit...meatwad makes me laugh. But, Boondocks is kick ass as well.
