I've been using Shareaza to download my torrent files for a long time now. My question is, if I was to install another application (like Azureus or BitTornado), is there a way to resume files that I've been downloading with Shareaza?

I have a 15gb file that is almost 80% completed... I've been working on this for 2 weeks now. My problem is that my pc is starting to cause problems and I may have to reinstall windows. Any suggestions?

Or could I just Shareaza to resume the downloads if I save the partials?

Not with Shareaza files, it's handles them much differently that with Azureus or uTorrent.

You best bet is to just stick it out with Shareaza until it's done. I also suggest uTorrent for your torrents.

Like Auggie said, it does things differently, but there are some programs around. Never tried them though.. http://forums.shareaza.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=44693

depending on your hard drive space and connection with the torrent it MAY BE faster to use utorrent and start all over. yeah, shareaza's torrent support is THAT bad.

Second what Auggie said. Finish downloading with Shareaza and then switch to a client like uTorrent.
