I am trying to connect through a three way LAN. My older brother connects directly to the internet so he is alright. Myself and my other brother leech off his connection. Whenever i connect to a P2P it says that i am firewalled e.g. Overnet. Is there any way for me to connect normally?
Some guy told me to use the analogX portmapper, it works on my computer but crashes on my older brothers computer so i cant get it to work.

Can anyone help??

Overnet should work fine through a firewall, but If you have Windows XP, make sure that the build in firewall is disabled. So are you piggybacking another hub off the main one, or useing internet connection sharring? i am tring to understand what you mean by 3-way-LAN? can you clerify a bit, i will try and help. thanks

Basically i share my older brothers connection. He connects directly to the internet through a cable modem and we have set it up so myself and my other brother share that connection through the network. On some programs it says that i am limiting the content which i could possibly access e.g. Emule, i also cannot get Filespree or Blubster to work.

Hope this helps

your not explaining what you mean by network (there are several ways of doing this) if all you want to do is share the internet connection just run a router off the modem and you can all just plug in to it. I use a linksys 4 port cable router with 3 computers
connected. very simple, very effective.

Ok, we all connect to a hub. I then share the internet through my brothers connectio.
