I've been using nod32 for nearly four years and have never been aware that they offered a free version. Are you sure you didn't just dream this?

They had like a free one that would update every once and a while and would pretty much do the job it was named as such the Date being when the update came out (Thanks for the Help anyways)---nod32_20060105.exe

I'm pretty sure there is no free version. If you want a free on-demand scanner the best free one right now is BitDefender's free version.

Nod32 had two "free" products.

They had a fully functional 30-day trial of Nod32 that was a "free" trial.
They had 'specific virus' removal tools that were free.

Not really, its good for a free product but nothing more than that. AVG's heuristics are pretty terrible.
