Hello and thanks for any help you can offer!

My problem is such : I use Azureus and find my downloads "shrinking", meaning it tells me I downloaded say 15MB and 10 minutes later when I look it's down to 12MB. The downloads are marked green or blue, and mostly manage to edge their way towards the finish line, but after much backtracking and whatnot. Also the % seem to be off, going back and forth and not really consistant with what the filesize is supposed to be. The files in question have high ratings and I don't suspect they're corrupt or something. Can someone please tell me that this means or how to fix it?

I apologize if this question has been answered before, I looked everywhere but couldn't find reference to it, perhaps I just looked under the wrong keywords or something. If this is the case, please direct me to the answer or tell me what this problem is called so I can look it up myself.

Thanks in advance.

Try switching clients to uTorrent instead of Azureus and see if anything changes.

If it goes back in percentages of completeion. Then it could be getting bad data and failed the hash check, or you could have bad ram. I would pause it, and then restart it and see if it helps. IF its like that for all torrents, maybe you need to investigate rather its the client, or ban people who send bad data in the options field, or test your ram.
