Hi,
I have just upgraded to Az 2.4.0.2 today. Since the last week my download speeds have ben absolutely terrible, not even touching 1 KB/s while av gswarm speed is anywhere between 12 and 50KB/s.

No 4226 errors (( have patched it) No NAT errors. I am running only McAfee firewall.
I have configured my router also. Had been getting great speeds till last week.

What confused me even more was the Az 2.4.0.2 update came at 50KB/s but no other torrent does.

Please Help.

Thx
Karthik

Sounds like its a bad tracker, one if mine won't get above 30-40 KB/s, but other are over 200 KB/s easily. Depends on the torrent, and how many sources are available.

If swarm getting 50kbs.. your screwed. THe swarm needs to be as high as 1mb or more for any decent speeds to exist for all the swarm.

Hi,

Sorry. I meant that the average swarm speed was 20-50KB/s. Total speed is much higher in the range of 1MB/s.

But the problem is not restricted to just one file. Its been happening for many different files.

Have you tried encrpytion? Your ISP might be using some sort of traffic shaping...

Hi,
I was actually just seeding one torrent that had taken a real long time to downloa. Once I had removed it from the uploading the speed went up.
Those with similar pbm like mine could try it.

Thx

Go to the Options -> Connection -> Encryption tab and enable encryption, and see if the results are better.
