Hey everyone
I'd first off like to say hi as i'm new to the forum. I'm currently on a school network (i go to university) and am trying to get my bittorrent downloads to speed up. Currently they're hovering at 0-4kb/sec or so and my uploads at around the same. I know the connection I'm on is capable of FAR more than that as I occasionally download things from websites at 2MB/sec etc. I was wondering if anyone had anything to suggest?
I've already tried configuring the router i'm on (Linksys Wireless-G although i'm currently connected via lan), i also downloaded a service pack 2 patch, disabled my windows firewall, tried opening different ports etc. The client i'm using is BitLord if that helps.
If anyone can suggest something I'm definately open to suggestions. I'd appreciate ANY help anyone can give me.
Thanks a lot!!
