If not can someone tell me where I can get good help on these problems?

1) "Sick" computer. I mean this computer has serious performance issues, windows errors, hard drive device errores etc.

2) Turning some unused wireless routers into repeaters or extenders of my wireless network.

The short answer is YES. However, this is a file sharing community. My advise to you is make sure your questions are well thought out. Also make sure that you tried all other avenues such as google for your answers. ZP has a few resident experts, but without mentioning any names, they have very little patience for stupidity. So just make sure your questions are of an intelligent nature and so will your responses.

Allow me to translate.

Yes. You will find a vast wealth of information on this site. Be prepared to fight for it, and be bashed like you've never been bashed before. The more knowledge people have on a subject here, the bigger the asshole they are. It's called the pecking order. Cock size and how much you can benchpress don't work on the net, but the knowledge to help someone make their computer run again can make you god.

I would say no. This really isn't a great place to get pc help unless you've been around for awhile. Or you have an extremely high abuse tolerance.

You can get the best computer and tech support at Zeropaid... as long as it doesn't involve much computer or technology junk.

We also offer advice on:

-how much Kazaa sucks balls
-the outcome of a Star Destoyer/Enterprise Battle
-how hot (insert beautiful actress) is
-Kung Fu flix
-how much Kazaa sucks balls

Did I miss anything?

Yeah, you forgot to mention that there's a shitload of news here; and that you're going to have to sift through the shitpile to find anything.

Not really CRLocky, as all it takes is a look in the right section, or asking the right question.

Well it doesnt take much thinking to figure out you should not be looking for tec support in a news section. News has alway been important to Jorge, and Chris, and will reman so.

It kind of reminds me of Jason Goes to Hell.

You can get great help here, as long as you are willing to let Krell break one of your fingers for each bit of info.

It is nowhere near that bad. If you encounter some grumpy folks, its because they have answered the same question all too many times. A question all too often that the answer could have been found on qoogle.

I dont mind breaking fingers, they are usually the one I get in return for helping people anyway, and pointing out the painfully obvious overlooked by not spending 2 minutes to google their answer.

There are only about 5 or 6 people on ZP that actually TRY to offer support, the rest of you . . . well . . . I dont know what the fuck you do, but it isnt any kind of tech support.

I think RACKnRAIL said it best, the rest is fodder.

Agreed, there is a lot of bitching around here (as seen in this thread) that is directed at people who actually offer help. Sure it can be frustrating sometimes to try an talk someone thru the most basic of steps and some folk need to let of steam, it is a small price to pay.

I say unless you actually take the time to answer a billion "help i cant turn my pc on" threads then dont bother complaining about the people who actually do.

Now lets all get along there's no need for all this gripe. :icon_flow

It could be a lot worse, as my sisterinlaw recently bought a new Dell, and had to deal with Hapu, ( inside joke ) and get help she couldnt understand. She finally got desperate, and asked me if i could help out. It was a driver problem, and quite simple to fix. No I dont do tec all that often as Im not that good, and only help out when Im damn sure of the answer, or if nobody else will touch it.

The Hunter

That's because despite your grumpy demeanor, you carry enough respect around here that we all go pinata party when someone mouths off.

Why don't I offer any tips? Cause I don't know two squirts about one shit. I do well enough to keep my comp running, and most of my tuneups come in a software form rather than manual.

Then again, I am the same dumbass who killed my mobo n processor last year about this time by installing a RAM upgrade whilst sitting on the carpet.

It wasn't the move that was so tarded, as the fact that I know better.

At least you didn't drop a power cord in water, then stick it in your computer....
(it wasn't dripping wet, i thought it was dry)

No, but I did steam clean a keyboard.

Though, that did eventually work again. About 3 days of drying and it was as good as new. Couldn't give it to mother all funky.

Edit: My solution for the "sick" computer problem. Go find an alley behind an apartment building, there you will find a large box full of refuse, this will provide the exact solution for your comp. Deposit said system, and go get another.

1) "Sick" computer. I mean this computer has serious performance issues, windows errors, hard drive device errores etc.

2) Turning some unused wireless routers into repeaters or extenders of my wireless network.

1. Get what you need off of there, and use a search function (either here at Zeropaid or Google) to find a good tutorial on how to reformat the hard drive (not hard) and reinstall Windows (again, not hard).

2. I would use Google to find a good tutorial about it. Make sure you check your manuals of said routers to make sure they can do that sort of thing, I have a Motorola wireless router that can add more MAC addresses of other Access Points to extend my network, but I don't think my old router had that sort of capability.

Oh yeah, and I haven't become as cynical as some of the rest of these guys (and gals). Yet.

Honest? In the few years I look here for file sharing news, I rarely see any great tech advice.

In my opinion, many of the people that found this place 5-6 years ago and haven't moved on in life because being a somebody at ZP matters have a severly over developed sense of self worth.

I would not waste my time here for break/fix stuff.

This site isnt geared to be a "tech advice" forum you asshat, it is a FILE SHARING forum where people that *mostly* like each other keep contributing. A few of us volunteer technical discussion as a part of that.

Thanks for being a 10 post nobody, and a waste of our time, now kindly "move on" with your self worth and my foot up your ass.
