I am having trouble file sharing on Kazaa2.0.....that is to say.....I CAN download and share files from other Kazza users
BUT i cant seem to be able to share files that I recorded into my computer.Only those files I download from Kazaa
are seen and shared. What I have are 6 files of great ghost stories that I want to share. But even though Kazaa says
Im sharing them....people keep emailing me and saying that they cant see them.HELP....what am I doing wrong?
Im running Windows Me.Please help so I can share these files. The album name is Richmond Revisited. The files
are Monument Avenue....Things that go Bump in the night....506 E.Leigh Street....Jackson Ward....Westover......
Edger Allen Poe.
Thanks
Ruk

And you can't figure out what the problem is? Your biggest problem is ME...:)

But besides that, are the files you want to share in the same folder as everything else that is being shared? I know it sounds like a dumb question, but let's cover all of the bases. Whichever folder you use to share files for KaZaA, make sure that those other files are in there too.

If that's not the problem, give us more info.

sounds to me like the evil supernodes are messing up yet more file transfers.'~'

As I understand it, those "evil supernodes" are what make kazaa the best.

if the files are in your "shared folder" make sure you see them when you click the "my kazaa" tab. if they are there... you ARE sharing them. If you are the only one with these files (which i assume you are, since you made them ). there would be slim chances your friends will find them. they would have to connect to the same node to get them in search results.when a few people start downloading them they will spread fast through the nodes.... another reason broadband users should act as supernodes :;)
