ABC won't show up, unless I maximize it but if I restore it just sits in the taskbar and won't go back to the original size. it worked fine last night, but now it doesn't.

If its in the task bar, you click on it and it wont come up on the screen? What version you have? Maybe prefrences to set it to restore or hide in task bar.

now when I click the ABC in my taskbar it just sits there the only way I can open it is to maximize it and then if I click restore it just puts it back to my taskbar.

IF you uninstall it. And re-install it. You would have to put the torrents back in there, and choose which folder to resume the download. I download albums and put it in the directory of MY Music. Now if I pause it, and its not completed. Its a partial, And If i re-installed it i would load the torrents i download and choose to save it in MY Music folder. It will do a hash check and then resume delivery til complete. Make sure you have the torrents you downloaded from the site.

All you have to do, is restart the program, if you didnt MOVE anything, ABC knows where to find everything and what to do, like, hog memory . . . choke your bandwidth . . try it, you'll like it.

Now shut up and reboot!

*always wanted to use that in tech support*

So your saying that after a reboot, and on resuming the program, that it stays on the taskbar.

You may be trying to do too much at once, there are a lot of variables, such as the amount of memory you have, have available, how much youre trying to do at once in ABC, cpu usage . . . youre just going to have to observe and see if you can get one torent to download and still be able to use the GUI.

yes, that's what I'm saying, it just sits in the taskbar I've removed all traces as far as I know of ABC and yet after a reboot and a fresh install it just sits in the taskbar the only way to open it is to maximize it.

What if I were to download a new client and I use the same torrents and save to the same places would the downloads resume where they were?

Yes, that will work. All you have to do is as you said, set the default save folder as the same as your current ones and open up the torrents again. It's actually pretty sweet that you can actually do that. Brocks, right, get uTorrent and you'll never turn back.

FINISH your downloads!!! Dont put the torrents to resume in another client. FOR two or more reasons.. If they do a hash check, some clients will knock the completeion rate lower then what ABC had, and you may have to tweak your ports to allow access so you can gain more connections to people sharing the file. Just finish it up, and install the other BT program and any new torrents you download. Run it off uTorrent.
