depends on what you want to listen to....I believe Howard Stern is on the Sirius network. I think Sirius has a better listening selection for what I was looking for.

They're both great services. It's just a matter of test in programing selection.....Sirus has NFL league and Howard stern that am a fan of.....XM will soon have The Oprah show and Baseball...

Music selection it's pretty much the same!

I listen XM free though AIM and I listen to radio stations thoughtout the US free on the the internet. I dont think its worth paying for at this time.

I picked up a Sirius unit in december and havent listen to anything else .......

No cds no downloading music....

... I'm well younger than 45 and dig XM far more than Sirius. It's not only the better selection of music, news, and talk (Air America!) .. but the superior hardware as well.

Unless you need to listen to Howard Stern. I can understand why you'd go with Sirius in spite of its faults in that case.

Bottom line though, satellite radio in whatever branding you have it is pretty cool.

51 here and listening to Sirius. Wife got it for me for x-mas and I love listening to raw dog comedy. Kinnison, Carlin, Pryor, Mencia and so many others...what a crack up....uncensored...love it.

Sirius messed up my billing somehow, they havent been billing me... the website says payment declined or something... but my unit has been active since october 05 and i havent payed since then. Heh.
