It pisses me off Eric Roberts did little more than sissy work after this movie... I would see him in movies and wait....

Eric Roberts cant act, he's a closet homosexual if there ever was one. Every movie he's ever been in is the same, when I see him, I cant even tell what movie or role he's in . . I could meld them all together, and the end result would still be the same.

Yeah, Eric Roberts has that fake-intense whiney thing goin' on. He cries more than he fights... but at the end when Dae Han is limping toward Tommy I'm a mess too.
So... it's pretty good for an 80's "you can do it" flick.
He's a serious weirdo in Pope of Greenwich Village.
The best thing about Best of the Best, however, were the scenese from korea with the serious no nonsense training in the waterfall and kicking down that forest. (and Eric Roberts screaming, "Tape it UP!!!")

Maybe that's why I don't do a lot of action flicks anymore... I'm like.... sure, they'll be cool now, next thing they'll be visiting club bathrooms with George Michael.
