Hi falks,

I have the previous and current version of emule. In the past my emule was working properly, but in the last few days, i don't know why, for the first few minutes, it works and i would able to download and search files. Few minutes later, for the reason i don''t know Emule stopes downloading or unable to search any file using emule.

However, when i check the server in emule, i see that i am connected and my internet is still on. Actually, prior to opening Emule, i was able to surf/browse the web page but after i start my emule, and after first few minutes later, I am unable to browse the web, nor able to download, upload or search anyfile. Mind you, my internet line would not drop and i can see i am connected to the internet but unable to browse the web and unable to download/upload or search any file using emule. Anyone please help! what is going on?

p.s. right now i am using current version of emule. Same problem with the previous version as well-recently

Thanks

Did you try uninstall then cleaned your registry, then re-install?

yes i did and same problem. It also disrupts my winmx program. winmx would work by itself but once i open emule, both winmx and emule would not work.

Sounds like its draining your bandwidth where you cant view things. I think you should change the settings to not give it so much bandwidth, maybe someones downloading from you. Or maybe its a sign to move onto another network or another p2p app that will mysteriously stop working.

Agreed. The new install (assuming that's what you did) probably set the bandwidth to it's default values -- Set your upload speed to a lower number and see if it helps.
