No Op Video File

When I went to view a new dl of White Oleander, I found a black screen and no sound using WMP 6.4. It's listed as an .avi video. My DivX Player says it can't open the file.

In trying to resolve the problem, I've run DivFix on it.

Is this what a fake looks like or is there something else I should try before I trash it?

the best i can think of is to download and install the nimmo codec pack (http://www.btinternet.com/~nimosiro/) if this dont work, then i dunno but i suspect krell can think of something.

wmp 6.4 is antiquated.

I too resisted updating to 7.1. Don't make the same mistake.

7.1 is not only far superior in streaming video (cp24 as an example) but it contains codecs for video and audio that 6.4 does not have.

Yes, this is a recommendation for wmp 7.1.
