Ares bugs

I have been using Ares for quite a while, but I have been noticing many more bugs each time a new version is released. For example sometimes when I download an MP3 with pleanty of sources it downloads then stops and just says 'connecting' but when I pause the download, close the program, reopen the program and resume the download, it downloads fine. Why is this?!?!?! It never did this to me before version 1.8.9. Another thing that has turned into a disaster is the library. For some stupid reason, when it hashes the files it uses the file name to make the title, artist and album info in Ares, this means I have A LOT of songs that have numbers from the file name in the song title. Does Anyone else have these problems???????


Also are there any other simple programs that connect to the Ares network?

I've had luck with kceasy..it connects to ares. Yes i've had downloads hang at the end with ares...I'm really not impressed with ares because of this problem. very frustrating.

Ares is buggy as hell. I'm very suprised more people do not complain about it. Especially the connection part. I think the network has grown to large, the upgrades really suck and I don't think they know how to fix whats ailing Ares, what ever that may actually be.

I also use utorrent but I'm still on dial up and sometimes I just need to download a *quick* song without any hassle.
