Unable to install/run azureus

I downloaded azureus a while back from the 00de site (haven't been able to login to the site for a while now, looks like they have permanently shut down can someone confirm?).

Anyway I have the azureus2.jar and extracted the contents, in it I had an Azureus.exe file javaw.exe.manifest swt.jar swt-awt-win32-3106.dll swt-win32-3106.dll aereg.dll and a changelog and license txt as well as an about html file and a com, meta-inf, plugins, and org folders. I have double clicked the azureus.exe icon but nothing happens I am on win98se, and I am lost as touse the program or get it to run.

well if you think you are having problems with it then go and configure your port ..... i think it talks about that when you first download the program...... im assuming you didnt bother reading that
