You need a modded playstation to be able to play the burned playstation 2 games. If you do you can just download th .iso or whatever and burn it like anything else.

you have to buy a mod chip, also you usually have to open up your playstation and solder it in
you should be able to find a place to buy a mod chip yourself, this is the internet afterall
if you don't have any skills with a soldering iron you will have to pay someone to do it or try to order a modded ps2

You will need to buy a mod chip such as
Matrix Infinity ModChip
DMS4 Pro (DMS4 Lite) ModChip
MAGIC DUO 2se
The cheap ones you can get for about $20

It's cool, bud. You did nothing wrong. But this thread was heading in a bad direction. It's all right so far.

There are swap cards that use swap disc.. and burning ps2 games are trial and error.. XBOXES are easier and alot of fun :P~

You should read the PS2 FAQ (http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/69274) at Afterdawn.

Yes they are and if you're willing to pay a little more then you can get a solderless mod chip which is practically plug and play. The cheapest PS2 mod chip I've seen was for £5, basic, but gets the job done.
For the actual burning of PS1/2 games don't use Nero. Try alcohol 120% instead.
I personally prefer my SNES / Megadrive and a Flash Cart. (http://www.gbax.com/tototekmd.html) Solid state retro gaming. I've had so many PS1's and 2's die on me, that I've lost faith in Sony. My SNES has been going for 14 years and still works like the day I got it.
