Hi, All,
I have been getting the odd problem with MP3's downloaded from newsgroups. Sometimes, the downloaded tracks will start twice before continuing - so, if the track is 2.5 minutes long, I might get the first 30 seconds at the start of the track, then a little gap, then the full 2.5 minute track. I know for sure this is the track and not the player because if I open it in CoolEdit I can see the extra bit that shouldn't be there and edit it out. It doesn't happen that often, but it is annoying. So, my question is this:
Does anyone know if there is a simple program that will open an MP3 and present a graphical display of the track (like in CoolEdit) so I can check each track really quickly. At the moment, I either have to use CoolEdit to check (slow), or play each track (even slower). I'm tempted to change the newsgroup reader, but I really like it (Powergrab), and it doesn't play up that often... Any ideas, anyone?
