I have tried countless and I mean COUNTLESS p2p programs...Ares, Bearshare, Shareza, Piolet, Kazaa, Kazaa Lite Resolution, Soulseek...probably even more than that but I can't think of anymore without getting a migrane! :icon_pale I've also TRIED to download LimeWire b/c I've heard that's like the best, but it wouldn't ever install for me for some reason...I just don't get it! Am I cursed or what is the problem? LOL Anybody have any suggestions? :icon_geek :icon_scra

For users considering LimeWire these days, I reccomend FrostWire instead.

I agree with silentscream here...I had some trouble on one of my PCs because Java was not updated. The installer would start then give some errors and crap out. After I updated java limewire/frostwire installed no problem.

Filecroc is a piece of shit. The thing has spyware and is all together terrible. Didnt we already have somebody advertising filecroc here once... Nobody is going to use file-cock. give up.

HERE is what you do.. Im gonna suggest something that may be a little advanced, but you get exactly what you want, and what you need. There are things called TORRENTS. A torrent file is like a data file of things to download, it has piece sizes, how much megs, hash table, tracker IP address to connect to. Important things in this little 55-1.4meg torrent file. You install a program called uTorrent or.. ABC torrent. There are private torrent sites you need to become a member of. If you use public sites, be warned that its like kazaa and all the other crappy p2p apps out there. You get mislabed files, virus, cease or desist letters pertaining to that special movie or music file you have downloaded. So if you know what your looking for, pm me and ill go more advance with you on where to go, what to do, how to connect to other networks by getting past your firewall. And ill set you up to even more advance things later on. You tried the rest, now its time to try the best. ..
Read front to back here.. http://www.slyck.com/bt.php
Then what you cant comprehend or know about. Ill fill you in. You will have the latest music, the latest movies, the newest software apps, the perfect program that constantly works, connects, and downloads to the file is finished, not in days.. In hours, minutes.
All i require is your ability to try and learn, and an email addy to know what programs to send your way. There free.
winrar3.51
torrent.
SFV checker
Damn NFO viewer
Firefox* INstall it, you can get on torrent sites that have Search engines you can install in the browser, so at the top of the browser you scroll down to the torrent site and enter any key word of what you want. And it brings up the site and search results.

Limewire is also very good Install latest Java from java.com )

I mostly rely on eMule for movies and programs, and limewire for individual songs
also try www.piratebay.org along with utorrent

Theyll be back, they are a registered user of the site, and NO One leaves. No one!
Plus others may see it and go from there =)

No they wont, they have a better chance of having a quark reset a neuron than actually seeing anything that has already been posted, it would somehow resemble research and deceive everyone!

Remember the Kazaa and Winmx threads?

From the numbers of p2p programs you listed that you tried I kind of find it hard to say that its any of there fault if you are having to try all that are out there ..... Ya maybe one could move towards torrent loaders but in essence its not gonna really change anything for you .... I think you just need more experience with these type of programs and that maybe you should get to learn these simplier ones like your ares to limewire ......

But I dont see how you had any problems with SoulSeek ...... its like one of the simpliest ones out there and very compact .... one of the best in my mind ....... Maybe try and get with someone that has some experience in these fields and get some tips .......
