Succesfully removed spyware on my pc! :)

last month, i installed a program on my pc that my friend recoomended me. after the installation my desktop went black with a message that says "Your computer is infected with a spyware" or something like that..
i tried using more popular software like pc-cillin, bit defender, counterspy, spysweeper... they all found some unwanted items but didnt fix my problem.. i came across with this software i got from www.ilikeshinythings.com called Xostspy, i was really impressed it really did fix the problem with my pc..
ive read some negative reviews about the software but i dont think these are true...ive tried the program and it really works..
