What is the movie you love the most of all time, the one you could watch over and over again (pulp fiction included I guess, but that should go for everybody)
For me definitely Shawshank Redemption.

I do remember going to see this in the theater and being blown away. I never saw where the story was going. Great movie. So is the Green Mile

Both The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile are incredible movies.
My all time favorites since I first saw them as a kid were:
The Back To The Future trilogy.
The Indiana Jones Trilogy.
The Star Wars Trilogy(ies).
Shawshank.
Stargate.
The Fifth Element.
Right now, even though my memory index isn't serving me well, I'd have to say my all time favorite is:
Crash.

I've never seen Pulp Fiction.
I liked Dragonfly as well.
I did enjoy Dragonfly alot.

The Back To The Future trilogy.
The Indiana Jones Trilogy.
The Star Wars Trilogy(ies).
Right now, even though my memory index isn't serving me well, I'd have to say my all time favorite is:
Crash.
3 excellent Trilogies (own them all, plus original 93 laserdisc on DVD of Star Wars)
I didn't care for Crash that much. Seemed like they put a lot of things that could go wrong in people's lives all in one movie. I did enjoy seeing things come full circle in it though.
MY Movie to love the most is: The Blues Brothers.

Crash is about racism, and all kinds of things the average folk don't apparently notice very often even though people of the minority notice it every single day. I guess it depends on your perspective. The movie does bring to light several issues that are very real, and for that reason I think it's important to be recognized.
Shawshank Redemption and Green Mile were absolutely beautiful books that transformed into beautiful movies.
I could, and do, watch Moulin Rouge time and time again. I know it's not fabulous, I don't care.

Yeah. I like that movie tater. Amelie is the usa title. The french title is "the fabulous destany of Amelie (last name?)"
I think the ending would be have been better if Amelie was alone.
I guess the point of the movie was your life can change in 48 hours.
The interview disc had some gems but not that great. It took 18 drafts, 80 sets and everything was controlled, shot on side streets. They added the green in post(post-production). From what I heard the colorization was after the fact, not designed from the begining of the production.

My favorite is The Shaggy DA from 1976. That movie has meant a lot to me, and it's one of the things that helped to make me what I am today.
Wilby is a typical dad, and after his house is burglarized, he decides to run for District Attorney to get rid of the crooks in his town. A cursed ring is stolen from a museum, the same ring that turned Wilby into a Dog when he was a teen. Slade, the current DA, finds out what the ring can do, and uses it to make Wilby stay Dog and put him in the pound, so that he can't run for office.
I have other favorite movies, but Shaggy DA is on top for me!

I wonder will Tim Allen remake that one as well after he really f'ed over the Shaggy Dog
Yeah, he was pretty stiff acting, but he turned into a pretty Bearded Collie.. :) I guess if they remake The Shaggy DA with Tim, it will depend on how well it does, theaters and home video, and when the studio is scheduled for another Shaggy remake. It could be 17 years, the time between the original Shaggy Dog, and DA.. ;)
To me, the new Shaggy Dog was okay, but less than I expected. If someone is going Canine I'm going to like it every time, but they didn't actually show the transformations like in the other movies. Also, why must D!sney always use 'Who Let The Dogs Out' in every new movie they make that has puppies in it? I barked to my friend that they must have gotten a lifetime license on that song.
One of the best moments to me was when the head scientist grew a big furry Collie tail in the courtroom packed with people! Mostly the movie tried to be cute, where the old versions had a better mix of horror and comedy.
I saw it twice on opening day, then got the Cam version. I don't know if I'll get the new Shaggy on DVD, at least not at full price. Like in that thread about Star Wars, I might just need it to have a full collection. One good thing is this movie made the studio put the original Dog and DA out on disk for once.
