I did use Blubster 1.2.3 and it was fast. But now I get Blubster 2.0 and a song that I Downloaded on kazaa toke 15 minutes to download. Then I go on Blubster and it takes 70min. Is there something I have to fix or is Blubster 2.0 really that slow?

No, it hasn't gotten slow *sigh*. The speed does not depend on Blubster, but on the user you download from.

Don't forget on kazaa you download from multiple users which makes the download go so so so much faster than with just one source:cross

I don't know about speed. I haven't really had the desire to use it because it has so many bugs. It hangs. It freezes. It disables all external MP3 playing software when it is open because it takes control of the sound card(even when not playing an MP3). The window mode it opens up in on start up is slightly off the screen(first thing I do when I start up is maximize the window). Blubster 2.0, in all its hype and self proclaimed glory is a step down from 1.2.3. Thats really sad. All that time........

Although i love the blubster speeds i also have many of the problems described by Ken17625.
nonetheless i still believe blubster to be one the best networks out there: because of it speed and lack of spyware.
If you want blubster like speeds jou can also try filespree: it has the same benefits blubster has, but it also has some bugs.

By the way, i also think that 2.0 isnt as fast as 1.2.3: i think this is because of the software.
Or maybe now blubster has become more a "main stream" program alot more people with slower connections are using it.
