Ever since we started UberNet (http://www.ChrisMyden.com/uber/) which is a P2P network for MP3s, people have been asking when we would create something similar for Ogg lovers.

The unique aspect of UberNet is the fact that:

You will only find full albums

All music is ripped with EAC (secure mode), to ensure the rips are of the highest quality.

Ogg lovers have been asking for something similar. We ask that:

All albums be encoded with a quality level of 6 or higher.

You ONLY share Ogg files.

So if you're into Oggs, check out the following link for complete details. And even if you're not into Oggs but would like to be, we have a complete newbie guide on getting started.

I think it's quite cool that your network is so tightly organized. I'm curious as to whether you can use DC++ to access your hub as well. I tried, but I'm told to have 2 slots open (which I do) and then kicked. Anyways, it's a cool idea and I commend you on all the documentation you have on OGG and your detailed walkthroughs. Nice!

Thats nice and all but it would be too much of a pain in the ass to use the network. I encoded my OGGs with FreeRIP at 256VBR. Since I don't use EAC, this network is not for me.
