Anybody who has downloaded a Divx file from kazaa at sometime has at least once downloaded a misnamed file, and knows how frustrating it is, especially when it has taken you over 4 hours or more to download it!!!!.
The little program below allows you to view the file whilst it is being downloaded, and unlike other workaround solutions you do not have to copy the kazaa DAT file to another directory, alter the file or use Virtual Dub.

I tested it on a movie file after downloading only 4 Mb of the movie and found that it was not the film I wanted, thus saved myself a lot of time.

An Essential tool for kazaa movie downloaders.

Here is the blurb from the person who wrote it.

A program which is capable of playing partially downloaded AVI movies. To make it unique, it is capable of playing files which are in the stage of downloading. I made it to be able to have a peek on AVI files I get from Kazaa in real time without having to close Kazaa itself (way to often the name of the file is quite different from what is inside!). Later on, the list of supported programs will be extended.

Key Benefits
• Preview AVI files without interruption of the download process
• Uses standard DirectX framework - no additional software needed
• Very simple interface
• Does not change the original video file in any way
• It is Free!

Thanks mate!
Although I still prefer using my donkey anytime for movies... download the sharreactor releases and there's never a fake in there! But still it's a good prog, thanks.

0.1 alpha - it works better - still. Will be fixed soon, so Mr. "Andrey" said there...

Peace and Happy P2P (and Honest File Naming...)

I know its real or not, BEFORE i download it.

YES - The Other Way, as always. That link we all should know, but still some confusing all the time by noobs or experts. Some of us seems to have da link at their "bottom" for not to forget it, or what I think : giving it to others.
Check Da Size, Check Da CRC, Check by watching from start, takes about same time.
You choose Yours, I choose mine (method), may be the same...

P.S. Tomorrow is a small day for mankind, but a GREAT Day 4 me, I Buy 180GB more HD at $125....(7200rpm UDMA133)

OK 1 line me 2 : "I know its real or not, BEFORE i download it"
In Kazaa that's never the final truth (size is right, file maybe NOT)
Oops maybe 2-3 lines - Hope U have a 2000 resolution desktop at 24" monitor...

Whatever of da length : Do NOT Download Apps from Kazaa : most of them are buggy and have to try diff. sources after that fact to get around all over again. Quite a frustating, if da App is a 700MB+ ISO-file.

The Truth (technically) :
When U DL Music or Movies or Pics, one or more bits mixed up are mostly concidered as a small scratch, maybe not even visible / heard !!!
But Exe, Zip, Ace, ISO, Bin etc even one single bit turning from 0 to 1 or vise versa in critical point : U R not getting da app installed and no way to repair, Just DL again and hope for da best...(That's mostly in FT, seldomly at WinMX, Gnute or e2k)

Peace and Chears ( & be carefull out there, especially U from Washington...
No, not again Mr. Bush, I really did not mean U !!!)
