I liked songspy: and im sorry to see it go.
But there death proves once again how corrupt the music industry is. This because songspy was going legit. They where working a tracking system wich allowed tracking of songs so royalties could be paid to the owners of the music: there's a good artical about this on slyck:

i tried songspy, and never could connect... not once. im not even behind a firewall...
and it could never find all my songs... only a little over 200 songs each time i opened it...
oh well..

hmmm saw a friend use it back in the day.....looked ummm interesting.... but fear not for every one they shut down a new one will pop up. Can't plug all the holes up on the sinking ship that is the RIAA ;)
