Have You tried eDonkey, eMule, MLDonkey or Overnet - the're all e2k-protocoll apps and quite a slow too, but when You share enough, You will get more sources and sometimes quite a fast ones, too. For MLDonkey You can get a link from here at ZP by browsing the forums, it's designer is also a member of ZP.
Overnet is Serverless and can be found at :
http://www.overnet.com/
eDonkey needs servers - Latest release can be found :
http://www.edonkey2000.com/downloads.html
eMule is best of e2k clients - Latest release :
http://sourceforge.net/projects/emule/
From e2k I have found most apps I've needed and games too.
BearShare is a popular Client too - with it I have been able to download at maximum speeds, even over 60KB/s with my 512Kbps ADSL. BearShare if addware (free) and can be downloaded from CNet.
Try these out if having probs with KaZaA
Peace, health & happy P2P...

Did U have BearShare - The new version is absolutely good, also try DirecConnect (DC or DC++), don't have links just now, but search them with Goooogle or Altavista.
also try NeoNapster at :
http://www.neonapster.com/
"NeoNapster Features include:
- easy to use interface similar to the old Napster and Morpheus, except with no ads, banners, or popups!
- connect to the Gnutella network, access billions of files from tens of millions of other users. Compatible with LimeWire and BearShare fast networks. Share MP3s, DivX movies, games, software, and every other type of file!
- cutting-edge standard supports multiple, refineable searching, ultrapeer connections, IRC integrated Chat, SHA-1 file hashing and more!"
Free and NO Ad/Spywarez
Peace & Health & Happy p2p...

Some of us seems to use Mediaseek from :
http://web.mediaseek.pl/
"MediaSeek is a P2P Network designed for making file exchange between users as easy and effective as can be. Web based user interface and a small client side application make it very easy and fast to obtain media files of your needs.
We bring you the ability to find and download music in OGG & MP3 format. (and Apps Too - Writers Comment)
Remember: The idea of P2P is that users are going to share files as well as download them, so please remember to share your resources too."
Don't have much used it but i like the bolded text, it goes well to my motto :
Peace and Health & Happy P2P-SHARING 4 All
