As of October 15, songspy is dead. RIAA screws us once again. I was able to get any song at tremendous speeds using the songspy network. I hate to see it go. I guess i'll try blubster to get my mp3's. I hate the RIAA.

songspy never truly lived

it took me 2 hours to upload my list (and almost always crashed my computer, which is 2ghz, so there is no excuse for it) and i shared more stuff than anyone (26,000+ songs), but i couldn't download anything, or upload anything

there were and are much more efficient ways of sharing files, songspy will not be missed by me

So what Songspy Sucked anyhow. It wouldnt never connect, and plus it was full of spyware. If U people want to talk lets talk about kazaa lite and Xolox.

Songspy was bought by IMG Entertainment and would be a free legitimate service wich would have a tracking system to be able to pay the artist. By killing this program the music industry once again proved that there not interested in cooperating with anybody wo wants to create a legal P2P network. There only interrested in controling the market with the same monopolitic way they' ve always done!
