Apple iPod

Thinking of getting one but its DAMN expensive. My only real concern is battery life (is 10 hours REALLY enough?) and this:

What is the software like with the iPod on Windows? Apparently its bundled with MusicMatch Jukebox or something which quite a few people are having probs with.

What is XPlay like in comparison?

Because I don't want to splash out £329 for a 10 gig iPod just to realise that the software isn't 100% satisfactory. Comments anyone?

well, u should go with the Nomad jukebox zen. its about the same size, just a lil bigger..but not much, and it has 20 gigs on it, yet it is the same price as apples 5 gig. just some food for thought

or you could go with Creative's new MP3 player. Almost the same size, quality and 20gigs. Its only like a few cm bigger and its $100 bucks cheaper....:cross
