Looks like this will be a great movie, I've been dying to see it since I read the book.

The trailer isn't very long or detailed but it's much better than the teaser...

every time i click that link, i get to the site and it says:

"the plug-in performed an illegal operation. You are strongly advised to restart firefox."

that's it. I've updated firefox, updated (atleast tried updating) quicktime. At the end of that, everything seemed to go fine and then a "updating quicktime has failed!!!!"

i'm switching to opera.

I couldn't get it to play... it's a quicktime issue i've been unable to resolve..
Haven't been able to play in in ANY browser, no even ie, I even dl'd Opera to see if it would work

Quicktime on my system is fucked, Dont' know what it is.

Never had that problem in firefox. Thats kind of weird. Maybe theres a conlict in your plug-ins.

Finally!!!!!!!! Fuck, it took me forever to figure it out! About god damn time I got that quicktime plugin "illegal operation" bullshit out of the way...

After about 15 attempts at uninstalling, re-installing iTunes/Quicktime, Quicktime alternative, standalone quicktime, yada yada yada.... I remember that I had recently installed ACE Mega Codec Pack.

tisk tisk, I should have realized that along with the other FOUR codec packs I had, there had to have been some confusion on my system!

I ended up just un-installing all the packs, codecs, iTunes/Quicktime.
Started naked and re-installed iTunes/Quicktime.
Reinstalled ACE.

And it still didn't work!!!!!!! FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

then I gave turning off firefox adblock. that did the trick

Mels I never could get the flash going either...it just kept loading and even when I pressed play it just kept the load icon going around and around.

Hmmm, maybe you need to update your flash player or not if you don't ever view flash content. But as flash is a big part of site content these days, I would update it.
