sometimes if the batteries run low the mouse and keyboard lag a little. I like the old school regular wire connections. They work good and you dont have to use batteries:wings

As people with cordless monitors will be able to see what you type! Or something.

I've got some money to blow on PC equipment. I was thinking of a DVD burner, but I always fancied a cordless setup. I may have to toss a coin. Or have a toss. Or something.

the reason for not finding a wireless keyborad with a USB is that the power requierments for even one USB port are far greater that what can be brodcasted over wireless. So you will probably not see one till the wireless technology gets better. Good luck

I have the logitech cordless desktop (using it right now!).
It's got a cordless keyboard and a cordless OPTICAL mouse (which is damn cool) with loads of shortcut buttons running along the top along with a volume control, and extra scroller etc. (all on the keyboard).
It set me back around £60 when I brought it in Singapore (its around £100 here in the UK), but its great.
The mouse didn't lag at all when the batteries started running out. It just simply went dead completely. Which is a good thing. As opposed to it becoming non-responsive over a looooong period of time.

Its just a name it means nothing. i accually use another login for all other boards this is the only one I use that login with. but I didnt want to start my posts all over again, and I wont spam to make up the differance if I switched. I suppose if there was a way to get all of my info switch to a different user name, i could use one with meaning untill then, its just a name.
