e-donkey low id???

[HOG2K]

I'm on road runner and usually get great speeds..but when I get on edonkey, my speeds are usually below 10k. I usually get 30-100k on Kazaa lite.

E-Donkey tells me that I have a low id. I go to the url, and for the life of me can not figure out what it wants me to do...

Anyone else have this problem and fixed it?

My cable comes in to cable modem, then to a router. The router goes off to 2 computers.

Hello Hog2k, I'm not an expert myself... I have had the low id problem too, I found the forum at www.edonkey2000.com and www.sharereactor.com quite useful. Just do a search on low id and they will tell you exactly what could be the problem and how to fix it.
