Well, saw it today...
Think it was Lame for movie they spent 150 million making. The CG was impressive for sure but the story was Lame and Santa giving out swords and weapons and life saving miracle/hurtloam liquid healing drops...
well lets just say, pull up to the exit of your nearest theatre and when the people start pooring out the door, sneek in and see the movie, but save your eight dollars if possible.

I always loved The Lion the With and the Wardrobe as a book and Ive heard its actually pretty good as a movie. I guess I'll have to see it myself. The old cartoon was really good also.

when i was in 5th grade i read the first one. i tried to read the rest, but i lost interest by about chapter 3 of the second one and only skimmed the rest
i really don't get why the jesus freaks are rallying around it, it isn't any more allegorically religious than the lord of the rings was, and they said that one was satanic.

I liked the book, read it as a child. I cant believe you would say the story is pretty lame when all you needed was to read it, its enjoyable in the mind. I doubt they could ever spend enough money on developing a book into being a better movie. They all tried and failed.

c.s. lewis' philosophy books were an even better cure for insomnia (had to endure them for phil 211).
