Not sure if this has been covered here - my search was unsuccessful.

I'm downloading 8 episodes of a TV series. Even though I have some complete episodes (avi files) I cannot view them in WMP or DivX. I get an error message. I've had the same thing before, and have found the files are only viewable once the torrent has completed.

Is there any way round thi? Thanks in advance, Letmos

Downloading Smallville are we? LOL, I got it too.

Anyway, get yourself K-Lite Codec Pack. It has every codec you'll ever need.

You probably need to have it flush to disk and if the torrent is completed, you should be able to extract it if its winrar and then view it. Use Divx player?

Thanks for all the replies. I chose the videolan option and it worked perfectly.
