Biggest feature... DHT!!
Best handling of DHT, IMO, since it automatically disables it when the private flag is enabled, some other clients do, but they didn't implement DHT in just an extra 7 kilobytes. It's now 105KB which is about 30KB bigger than it was for the first version.
I love it!

I'm seeing more and more peers using Utorrent all the time. It probably helps a lot that Mininova has a direct link to Utorrent on their torrent download pages.
I agree the programming is great, no extra plug-ins, libraries, or runtime environments needed. Ludvig is showing us all a few things!

It is funny how it resembles Azureus so much and they get away with it. A little less CPU usage would be nice so I'll consider changing.

I'd highly recommend changing, and they're currently working on azureus dht implementation as well as mainline. When this happens, it will be the client to have!

Yeah you can do it in both uTorrent and Azureus. The two programs are extremely similar so if you know one, you know the other.

Wow this thing rocks Iv used bitspirit for ages now but I gave utorrent ago and I think its great, lots of options,DHT fast small no cpu and 2mb ram useage no bugs as so far I saw one guy saying it couldn't handle big files but I downloaded a 4.4 gig dvd and 2.5 gig game and a 2gig dvd rip all at the same time and everything worked fine.
9/10 (minus 1 because it doesn't have a cool dragon like bitspirit :P)

I only started using uTorrent today, installed version 1.3 after using BitComet for like a year. Prior to me using BitComet - I'd also tried most of the other popular clients and found BitComet to be the best of those.. but uTorrent simply blows BitComet away.
When using BitComet, my CPU usage would frequently be 20-30% most of the time, and memory usage could be around 60Mb.
uTorrents memory usage has not gone above 10Mb, its 1.2Mb with no torrents loaded!
It's so light on the CPU too, and nippy. It's just as configurable as the other clients too, and gets updated extremely regularly. BitComet hasn't been updated for a good while.
I'm definately a perfectionist with things, and uTorrent I could happily recommend.

So far Ive tried ABC, BitComet, Azureus and uTorrent and uTorrent by far beats them all. Although uTorrent does not have as many options as say Azureus, uTorrent is much smaller, takes up less memory, takes less time to load, and yet if proparly configured gives you higher speeds then the rest of the clients.
