life is pretty bleak without laughter, so i'd go for comedy.

I've got to got with action since horror is not listed. It would be a difficult choice though.

My grandad always says to me about any decision or situation... "as long as your happy son"
It's for that reason, no choice about it, I would definitely choose comedy. Laughter makes the world go round.

In this fictional world in which I can only have one genre for the rest of my life I'd sneak in a few movies that have any jokes/laughter parts as comedy even though the main genre for the movie would be something else, so I went with Comedy.
Examples:
Rush Hour 1 and 2, action/comedy
Leathal Weapons, action/comedy
There's a laugh in most of the recent Star Trek movies, so I'd sneek them in under comedy.

I can still stand behind horror, a bad horror movie is a good comedy.

(snerk) sounds like some of the cheesier slasher films i've watched... i almost chose penny dreadful as a nickname when i got here, but i figured it might be misunderstood.
