Nano lawsuit goes international

In the US, a similar case was filed in October after numerous complaints about scratched or broken screens.  The second lawsuit follows a large number of requests to be included in the action, said the case lawyer.  Apple admitted flaws with a small batch of Nanos, but denied that it was more likely to scratch than other iPods.

Yeah lets compare a company that flubbed some screens for its mp3 player to an industry that decieved millions upon millions of people and are responsible for just as many deaths. As for the bitch slapping, hardly, they are still raking in so much cash they could continue to pay off token amounts of money for the lawsuits until the cows come home. Cash cows that is yuck yuck

Damnit stone you sidetracked me, anyways, people make mistakes, and seeing how people run companies its safe to assume mistakes will always happen, this is one of those mistakes. Apple has done a good job overall with the ipod series and this is just a minor blemish, They will rectify the situation with the next batch of nanos and that will be that. Also, no I am not an apple fan(just bought a Creative Zen Touch w00t) I am however very bored and lonely

Icon you make a good point, but its been my experience that people can be very stupid about obvious things, I see it all the time, whether theyre mentally askew or just having a brain fart, it happens. So when a company says their product is safe people in general will believe them for no other reason than they want to, They say what you want to hear, what you expect to hear and you buy it because you really want to believe its true. My 2 cents
