Hey guys,
I have recently downloaded a set of about 25 .avi files from bittorrent. I was looking to transfer these to a few dvds since its about 10gb. I was wondering if it was possible to make these files into a menu-like feature on the dvd so i could navigate faster. I have nero 7 and I think there might be a way to do it from there. Anyone know how? Help is greatly appreciated.

You need to tell us more. Are you making DVD-Video files or just creating Data on DVD disks for DivX certified DVD player?

Nero VISION express is what you need to do it, you can add background, music for the menu.. and its easy to use.

"Are you making DVD-Video files or just creating Data on DVD disks for DivX certified DVD player?"

My intention was to burn the files to dvd disks so i could play it on my DivX ceritified DVD player. I just want to have it so i can navigate through them. Since they are in .avi right now, should i convert them to DivX or can the dvd player play them already?

No, you don't need to do anything, your DVD player will read your disk & create a menu (list) of files automatically so you can select which video file to play!

Use Nero to create a Data DVD, then select those file(s) to burn to your disk!

We told you what to do, now just go fucking DO IT !

I hate when we try to help someone, and they prequalify everything to the Nth degree

You'll never learn or get anything done by asking other people everything, now go away, and go make that %$#@! DVD already

How the hell do you think WE know how to do it? Magic Dust?

That makes absolutely no sense but I'll take your word for it oh great and mighty dvd god. No need to be a bitch about it.

@Dizzle4

I know Krell, he is really a nice guy! It's just we are sad that some people don't "do" their own research first, people will learn better by making mistakes then have the answer given to them.

For us, we end up keep repeating ourself over & over again! As you can see, there is a limit as how much we can take, before we have to let out some steams. LOL

Man, Krell, you really need to stop yelling at people. If youre so overwhelmed with giving people answers than stop doing it. Seems like everyone that comes in here asking questions has recently been met by your arrogant attitude.

No offence dude, I'm just being honest.

No offence taken, it would have to matter to be important.

We can theorize, and hypothesize, and philosophy, and collaborate . . . .

all this will never get a DVD compiled!

The day you see me asking bobo questions, you can also call me a hypocrit, but I learned how to use NeroVision Express from TRYING, not by asking how other people fucking feel about it.

If people are too lazy to invest the time, to even TRY to make a gd DVD then they cant get much from me, cuz Ive already posted SCREEN SHOTS on exactly how to do this!

It is, after all, a very simple process to figure out, I know, I DID.

So if a little investment of ones own time reading the threads, following screen shots, following the more than ample Guides available at several sites or even just firing it up and reading the HELP file isnt good enough, then screw the persons posting and STOP wasting my MF time, hows that for attitude?

When are YOU going to stop being a day care center for the unwilling?

err . . . no offence

You are partially right, but going through life I realized that thre are people that are resourceful and then there are people that need to be continuously guided through things if not all their lives then at least to the point when they can walk on their own.

I guess I don't mind helping out, even if it is repetitive, but thats just me.
