Why Diss XOLOX?

This is the first time I tried Xolox and I like it. Some here say it has Spyware. I don't think it does becouse when you download it. It gives you a choice for that stuff. Also the downloads are fast and so are the searchs. Shareaza may be better but People here make it sound Terrible. Is it so bad or did you even trie it???

Good point joe. But didnt you notice that they just love to bash everything that comes along around here. Nothing makes anyone happy so why would xolox be any different?

Xolox bundles SaveNow. Granted its not spyware, but its still 3rd party shitware. Xolox as a client, is good. I like the new release, but Gnutella just doesn't do it for me anymore. I've been trying File Spree again and it has improved greatly. I was able to connect for the first time in a while in the new version. Just had to configure my firewall to get connected. Very fast speeds. Blubster type speeds without the bugs blubster has. Supports ALL file types. Needs users though. Fasttrack is still my favorite network however.

It has actually impoved greatly with their latest release and I still have yet to see a faster client :)

I much prefer the look of Shareaza and plus why use a client with ads on an open-source network where you don't have to?

i tried xolox it looked ok, wouldnt connect, found out it didn't play nice with lans and gave up trying, i don't need to switch so i wont

and just cuz one or two people say something sucks doesn't mean that all of ZP hates its or hates everything, so stop generalizing

I've tried an older version, but I currently have no need for any gnutella program. If I do use gnutella, I'd pick Shareaza. I have nothing against XoLoX, but Shareaza works just fine!

This is the first version of Xolox that didn't crash my computer after installing it. So I think that is a step in the right direction.

Seems that way sometimes eh, as noted above.. who cares what other people say. Unless you try it don't take anyone's word for granted. XoloX has had it's bumpy road, but it's been on its way to vast improvement and hopefully begin contributing back to gnutella forward dev once this catching up is done.

anywho, i do wish the negativity around ZP was less.. but it's not any different then the rest of the net. You have to take anything anyone says with a grain of salt.

Yes, Kazaa does not suck or then I have a bad flu not smelling anything. What sucks over Kazaa (and Lite) is the Partcipation-level discussion and those F leechers who have started to make competitive apps (with growing version numbers) to those "kiddies" playing supremebeing. That makes the people suck, NOT Kazaa which is a fine piece of soft when used righ way : by sharing...
About XoloX - It's "GiftWarez" and those do suck 4 me. I have no need of da SaveNow and many many peeps still let it install it, with a hurry not checking it off. And it connects badly and has so little to offer 4 my needs that I just tried it, saw it and after a while put to closet and pushed the button...

I Still do have "registered" version of BearShare Pro, that'll do my Gnutellaz well...
