A federal grand jury indicted three men on Wednesday in what prosecutors are calling the largest bust of pirated CDs in U.S. history. The indictment follows the arrest last week of Ye Teng Wen, 29, Hao He, 30, and Yaobin Zhai, 33, on charges of illegally reproducing 325,000 music and software CDs. Two of the men are American citizens and one has a U.S. work permit, said a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney for Northern California. "The allegations of massive piracy of music and software reflect the potential loss of millions of dollars to the artists and businesses who legitimately own the copyrights on these works," U.S. Attorney Kevin Ryan said in a statement.

yeah they need to start focusing more on this kind of stuff rather than kids and adults sitting at home downloading music and software for their own personal use. maybe they will wake up some day.

i used to be more against this kind of thing. now all i care about is hurting the money grabbing bastards that sue everyone and their dog. i still feel this kind of piracy is wrong, it just doesnt anger me at all anymore.

selling pirated cds... hey whatever, just dont trick the customer into thinking its legit and racking up the prices. I sell burned/copied cds of stuff sometimes, usually for $1 to cover the cd, my time and a little on the side, but not much obviously. if they give me the cd i usually do it free.
Thats not really a huge pirate operation tho.

I can see why they would do it...even at a rate of $5 a cd, 325,000 cds reproduced is about $1.6 million dollars..Not my cup of tea but hey, at least they weren't on welfare..
