I got Blubster Lite, Blubster, Piolet (liked Piolet most)

unfortunately, I was never able to connect, it always said, guess, "connecting..." :(

I specified a port in my program, and then used that to port forward this port as UDP to the computer where I use the programs.. This did not make a change, but other apps, also using udp, seem to work..

I saw someone said you can't use it in all countries, is this true?

Perhaps, I need an accurate peer cache? Maybe all "gateways" have other names now or are down/old peers, I don't know..

I need tips, or perhaps also a fresh contacts.dat from someone succesfully using mp2p right now..

I wonder why MP2P gets so few attention. I guess everyone has ADSL routers and can't connect or something.

The network ist still great if you get it working. See other post in the MP2P section. If you get it connected, is very fast and also very clean.

If you want a client, take the one from GATORIAN's post, I recommend the Piolet Beta. You can also preview music there :icon_comp

there has been many raids and busts in spain over the last 48 hours

it appears Manolito is one of the casualties
(it should probably get in the news headlines at somestage? there seems to be nothing on it)

the first poster in that last slyck thread posted

Does it say "Connecting..." all the time?

Do you use a ADSL router? Or any router? Or any way to connect many computers to one internet connection (many to one internet IP)?

Which OS do you use? Which type of connection, how do you access it? Can you see your local IP address (in the system)? Check with whatismyip.com (http://whatismyip.com), is it the same?

You downloaded the beta, right? Go Settings, and then stats. Look what events happen: Are there only "Sent" operations, or also "Received" ones? Many sent?

Btw, Clean Blubster is here: blubsterlite (http://www.freewebs.com/blubsterlite)
However for people having problem setting up, I recommend Piolet because of the statistics. Move on Blusbter later.

Yes, that's the biggest problem of Piolet... It even took me a year until i was connected (i had to reset the router and then make all piolet freindly, some hours, but usually you avoid that over time).
In the MP2P section I was luckily reporting what I did when i saw "CONNECTED"

but it is really not so cool..
