Sounds original. This FireFox extension is worth a try anyway.

It seems to work amazingly well. Sure it will suck up more bandwith as there are many sites you never go to look at but whatever. Im still waiting to see some kind of combined filesharing system for webbrowsing where you host the files on your computer and such and its just intershared among everyone. Creating free webspace.

Until you use it at work, it preloads a porn site, and you get fired. I'm too lazy to find the article, but it's happened.

it's an awsom extention...:P Using it right now... In terms of p2p and the web, a cool system would be one that shares the parts of site i.e. images etc with others, releaving strain from the webservers. Freenet doesn't do this with the conventional internet, just on the freenet network from what I gather.

Chaps if this isn't to your liking, you could try out a program I posted a couple of days ago. I'm not taking this as a genuine oppertunity to promote firefox because... I simply don't use it. Anyway heres the thread...

Couple of people who responded gave all positive feedback.

The 2 programs are similar. This prefetch thing was just the 1 feature that stands out, but of course you don't have to enable it and can just stick to the usual tweaks.
