So it has probably been a year and change since I have really used kazaa and I have been trying to download files recently and they aren't playing anything when I open them. Also the track times are really long like 20 minutes. Just wondering what I am missing or doing wrong. I am using kazaa lite resurection and they won't play in that or winamp.

Please help,
Mike

nothing wrong with winamp

they are clear indications that the files are fakes

use limewire and add a filter for the extention .wma

limewire is good for one off tracks

and easily as simple to use

Ya dont use kazaa anymore. Uninstall it from your computer its pretty much useless at this point with the number of fakes on it. I sujest trying limewire like silentscream mentioned or if your more adventurous check out the other apps zeropaid has listed.

i sugesasted only limewire as it is so simple to use and to graduate to from kazaa

and doesent need forwarded ports and whatnot

i really wish emule had the filtering functions of limewire

i love the mule but i hate wma/wmv

yeah as in not whole albums at once

and its generally pretty fast

a filter will make it so that u wont ever see wma's in ure search results (a good thing)

Yes that is true. Technology moves so quick it's hard to keep up with teh fast pace of things. While I have your attention what is NetLimiter for?

lol... Thanks for all your help Silentscream!
I think I know what direction to head in now. So I am off to uninstall kazaa and install limewire and hopefully find some music that will play.
