To allow connections or not to allow connection(Univercities)

hey i have a qucik question and decided to ask it

ive been using Bittorrent for a while and while have Peer Gaudian up i notice it is blocking sometimes alot of Univercities. and most of the time the download it going sorta slow. so im wondering should you allow connections to univercities due to there high bandwidth and fast uploads or no?

most universities frown upon using their Internet gateway for illegal downloading, last time I checked.

I've never had the blocking of universities slow my download that much. In addition, most universities use different tricks to guard against p2p. Therefore, I block them no matter what, because chances are they are not who they say they are. ;) Course, I'm just a paranoid user.

could be universities throttling the bandwidth rather then trying to connect to you. Possibly it will all lead to trouble.
