Im using nero 6.16 and using vision express.. the latest, as well as svcd converter.. Now the last season i was able to transfer DIVX tv shows into SVCD and burn to watch them.. Now the new season of Tv shows wont convert and will shut down any program i have running. I have the supervideo converter plus, and nothing seems to work. Windows media player has problem playing them and the DIVX player plays them fine. Is there something missing out of all this?

Is it possible the file extension is incorrect? What does GSpot tell you about them? Have you compared the old season Divx with the new ones?

Could the divx tv shows be HDTV rips? that could be the problem.
You may need to upgrade your codecs.

I doubt it, last season was HDTV. Its just so odd that this is happening. Divx plays it, nero showtime plays it, windows media doesnt even though i installed a package of codec.

AC-3 used could be on VBR format, you need to decompress them first then re-encode them to SVCD or other formats.

Sounds like a codec problem to me. For your encoding software to work the files must first be decoded by the installed system codecs. Because media player wont play also it probably is because you are missing codecs, or the arent registered correctly. I suggest reinstalling the codecs again from a codec pack. This should solve your problem.
