Im on azureus and it was really slow but then I learned how to open ports and everything and got my downloads up to about 60kB/sec which isnt bad and is much better then the 12ish I had befor but im on a 3meg/700kb connection, I have my upload at 68 because its 80 percent of my max (tested my connection). It says my download max should be around 300kB/sec. Im not sure if this is just the way the program works, as in it limits my download speed by my upload speed? because last night at one point I was closer to 150kB, today im getting more seeds/peers now, its not maxxing my speed on the files though because If I stop one file, the other goes up to 60 ish kB. Is there any way for my system to achieve its maximum setting? Thanks in advance.
Ok been reading some more, (dont bite my head off theres so many threads with the same names it takes forever to find relevant info) And im thinking its as simple a matter as my ul/dl ratio? Azur doesnt track lifetime ratio just ratio for the current time on, so If I close it or restart my comp it forgets how much I've uploaded correct? That would explain good ratio yesterday when I had it running for quite a while, and today it slowed down once I restarted my computer.
