Have been playing AA, and Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. Not all that advanced but free always works for me.

It has nothing to do with being a noob fact of the matter is that they cant come up with new ideas and are beating this ww2 genere into the ground. Oh wow another ww2 game ill just put it up with the othe 1000. Well they are popular, its not like there isnt other FPS games out there, I mean you have F.E.A.R. and Quake 4 coming out too which are suppose to be pretty big. So if your sick of the ww2 genre then there are plenty of non ww2 games out or coming out.

I did play the demo for COD2 and I liked it alot, especially how you can shoot someone and you think they dead but then they sit up and start shooting at you again.

Enemy Territory is similar to AA, in it is online multiplayer only. There is beach invasion level. No training like AA. Kind of a kick in the ass really.

It is fully free, and they have it on Cnet.

COD2 demo was only "meh" I will hold out on it until it's at most $40 :) For now though I am going to try to make the most out of civ 4 that I possibly can :icon_king

Ive heard the final is wayyyyyy better than the demo. Every review Ive read so far says it rocks, Im going to buy it later tonight so I'll let you guys know if its worth the bread.

Im playing it of a:
Celeron 800MHz, 512MB ram, Saphire ATI Radeon 9250se. now ANYTHING above mine can play it. thats the honest truth. It runs at average 25-40fps.
So as long as urs is higher than mine, urs will defieatly be able to run it.

Its not that demanding althought it looks like it should be. Pentium 1.4 ghz or higher,256MB of ram, ATI 8500 or above,Geforce 2 Ultra or higher. This mutherhumpers fun! Check out some of the movies of it.

I have a FX5500 overclocked and yes I can play it, but you don't get the full effect. I can play it with medium settings with no DX9 ability and get about 62 fps. With DX9 I only get 3 or 4 fps...but its beautiful.

Oh, I dont play it online because of the first COD everyone ran around while they were leaning...makes em hard to it...frigging rediculous.

My shitbox is a shitbox because for some godawful reason it has no AGP nor PCI-E slots. So, I'm stuck with my onboard 64MB intel "extreme" (ha!) graphics.

AGP isnt that great either...but i couldn't justify paying $20 more for a PCI-E motherboard and $120 more for a Vid card.

There is nothing wrong with AGP yet. There are no games out there that won't run just as well on a top end AGP card VS a PCI ex. Right now it doesnt matter. AGP 8x is awesome. My radeon 850XE AGP still kicks much ass! 2 years from now I'll need a PCI ex mobo, when there games that will really take advantage of the thru put.

I dont know about a hard on, but Jorge has that dam thing for the 360 and it rocks, played it for only 10 min and I think I got PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder)......
