Doesn't it just send itself to everyone on your list? Then it's up to you whether or not you open it?

I would think that since it didn't open, you should be okay.

And I think that's less related to Trillian than your own personal settings.

what u mean that trillian doesnt get affected by this?

What are you asking? Trillian is simply a program that connects to the AIM, MSN, Yahoo and whatever other networks. Of course it's affected... you got the messages didn't you?

The linky link. I received the same message you did, but for whatever reason, it didn't open automatically... nor did it send itself to everyone on my buddy list. I wasn't using Trillian at the time either.

What I meant (which now doesn't make sense to me), was that maybe you have something enabled that allows for links to be opened automatically.

Well that's a relief.

Lesson for you: Don't click links if you don't know what they are! Hover over it if you're really curious, see if it looks even remotely familiar. The URL should show up, and you can see what it is.
